Hello all
Just been sneaking a couple of hours on my scirocco storm project and noticed that the OS rear brake line is not fully attached to the body.
The hardline should run to a mounting point at the rear of the sill, and from there a flexible hose runs to another mounting point on the rear beam, where the hardline then runs to the rear drum brake.
However, the sill mounting point seems to have been cut in half (its a clean cut)and the flexible hose is a good ridge hose. It looks like this has therefore been MOTed (otherwise why fit goodridge hoses all round..?)
So my question is does the hardline to flexible hose need to be fixed to the body or can it (as it seems to at present) remain unattached?
Hope this makes sense?
Thanks
Ed
