Need some help from some guru`s on old Nissan`s please.. Some thieving scrote curse word broke into my 1988 Bluebird last night, knackering the steering column  I`ve search Ebay ect for new ones, but cant seem to find any? Would a steering column off another Nissan from that era fit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.     Cheers, Pete. |

Wtf? Have they actually managed to snap the end off the column there?!
I very much doubt T72 will be the same as another model. Possibly M11 Prairie but good luck finding one of those. Best bet would be to sign up on a banger forum like ovalchat and see if you can get a bluebird one off there. There must still be plenty getting raced.

You'll be lucky to find a prairie of any sorts in England anymore, they're worth a lot for export now.
As for the bluebird i'd suggest getting on Ovalchat, plenty of them still get raced.

PM me your chassis number as I can check on my parts disc what others will fit. I do however think that most probably on other T12/T72 Bluebirds might fit. I do know of a few breakers yards that have them in

Some people really need to get a life.
I cant help with the steering column sorry.
With the cracked column cowling though provided all the peices are there. Remove it from the car and put a light skin of fibre glass on the inside. Then mix up some filler with a little dye in it to match the plastic colour and paste that in the crack. It wont look perfect but it will look better than one with a big hole in it

Cheers guys. I`ve messaged someone on Ebay who looks to be breaking an 88 Bluebird so I`m hoping to here back from that, and If early Primera columns fit that`ll be a massive help too!
