How about a set of these? They're from Japan and are available in 110mm>100mm or 110mm>114.3mm? Should be a lot easier to post than a set of wheels too!

He's coming to the UK July 15/16 for the Japanese Nostalgia Weekend, perhaps he could bring something back? Early RX7's had interesting wheels IIRC, and the RWD 626 had a nice 13" steel with very little offset it always seemed to me.

A friend once put those Capri rims on a MK1 Escort using the Capri wheel nuts, which were a little big.........so the wheels rattled and often came loose!

Ooofff! I'd like a set of those!!! How can I get some? A friend of mine machines them up at home and sells them locally. If you're very interested I can get some pricing for you and ship o/s.... it's just dependent on shipping costs, but generally a set will go for around $250 NZD, and he can make them to adapt from ANY stud pattern to any other. In your case, a 4x110 to 4x114.3 would be the go!

Thanks for those shops Wagoneer, I won't be fitting Rostyles but these are inspirationalistic! Snoozin, sounds very good, I'll remember that, if I find some nice 114,3 wheels I'll know who to PM. I'm very happy with all the response and advice, thanks people!

Early RX-7 rims for the win! Series 1 RX-7: www.mazda.com/history/rotary/g2-9.htmlSeries 2 RX-7: flickr.com/photos/newnowknowhow/20377037/S1 wheels are what I'd call the "waffle" wheel. S2 wheels are what I'd call the "+" wheel. They bead blast very nicely down to something more matte than the standard shiny finish. And both wheels are the right PCD. And they're 13"x5.5". Wheels from all pre-1983 "small" Mazdas should be 4x110. "Big" Mazdas - 121s, RX-5s and the really big 929s are 4x120. Post 1983, all/most new Mazdas went to the JDM standard of 4x114.3 and 5x114.3. (Until they did the last of the RX-7s which have that PCD but weird offsets - Mazda tend to march to the beat of their own drummer at times)

Ooooh yes, and S1 RX7 "trashcan lid" wheels can often be had for curse word all coin as well!!!! They'd look fantastic on the KE I reckon, especially with a nice polished lip.

The drama might be finding RX-7 rims in Europe!

Well I'm in no hurry really... if anything cool gets bought someday I'll be sure to post them. Snoozin, do you mean the four spoke OZs at the top of my posts, above the alleycats? A club member is offering them for 40 euros, so I'm very tempted... also like the coffin spokes, like a four spoke version of these, at 100 euros.

And sir P, I dig those rewinds but they are a bit over the budget (ie they cost more than the whole car), sorry!

I like them very much, and for that price I can't go wrong. They look like curse word now, but with a little work...
