Hi guys and girls! Hampshire modified and retro are going to have a little clubstand at the gathering, so far only myself, sammyg and very kindly pandaselecta have confirmed for it, this is enough to obtain a stand, however we would like to extend the invite for anyone who would like to be on a stand but may not be in a club. we need to confirm the spaces before long, but if you are interested either message back here or PM me! as far as joining the club goes, there is no fee, you just have to 'like' hampshire retro & modified cars club' on facebook, if you don't have facebook, well, just come along anyway! mike  |

As far as I know the club stand age exception is an effort to not break clubs up...not merely a way of getting uninteresting cars in.
This request seems to be actively encouraging a stand full of cars that should be in the public car park. That sounds like a recipe to spoil your show as well as paying showgoers.

Discretion will always be used - if a load of non modified, boring, mid naughties cars start trying to get on your (or any) club stand they WILL be be parked up in the 'modern' cark park. The point of allowing 'modern' cars onto club stands is thus. Not all car clubs are retro orientated. Often they include mostly cool retros, and a few cars that arent pre 90's but are still tastefully modified. We want to include these guys, and make sure clubs can be together. |

agreed and possibly wrongly worded, was more to invite single cars that arent in a club onto a stand, wont want moderns, no neons, no mondeos with suicide doors! so far got a mk3 escort and so on, just stragglers who want to be involved.
apologies for any misleading interpretation!!!

And this fits me perfectly as mine was first produced in 88 but mines a 92  |

Cant wait!! If any of you lot are travelling up on Saturday then let me know. I’ll be going up the A34, M4 and then the other one (haven’t really checked the route yet) If you see a white Cortina by the side of the road, that’ll be me  . Been chatting to some peeps on Ford Scorpio.com and think I may have some wiring issues. Also got breather hoses going all over the shop so need that sorted too. Engine still runs so going to try anyhow. Got me breakdown cover! |

f.y.i everyone: gates open at 8am for club stands, would like to get all set up by 10am ideally.
head towards the entrance marked for clubs (tickets can be purchased on the way in if you don’t have them already)
you will need to display your stand pass so for those non campers as you get there ring me on 07825 814 740 and i will come find you, give you the pass and direct you in!!!
if all else fails and you get all confused just ask for the 'hampshire modified and retro' stand and explain we have your pass there...

Me In the sh!tfire with tim riding shotgun and Dan in the jetta valver are leaving Winchester about 10am on Saturday Morning; so if anyone wants to join in we could do a quick meet up at tesco's winnal on the M3 A34 roundabout if anyone else wants to tag along.
