...I bought this on OZ ebay for $50.It's a 1967 250S.I needed a good rear Quarter for my 6.3 and this was the only panel on this thing worth saving.
But the Surprise is under the bonnet...
A Ford 4.1 liter cross flow six! It runs beutifully and the car isn't down in front because the engine is heavy,but because the Springs are specially made lowering coils,The rears have similar units to drop the car 2 1/2" .
The car isn't worth saving because most of the panel work looks like this...
I have pulled hundreds of Dollars worth of good bits off it for my main Project,including the merc alloys which are now on my W114 280,ands all for $50! Oh i forgot,It's got a NEW grille and A new Windscreen,all I need now is funds to buy some rubber things for the seals etc .
