If so I think we passed it coming up the M1 yesterday.

Yeah thats right, the guy must have been busy at another show. Anyone know anything about the rear lamps on a Montego? These ones are ribbed. whereas the car which was towing it had smooth rear lamps....yet they were both 'A' plate cars.
I have lost sleep over this.

The ribbed lights are normal on the earlier ones. The smooth light are probably of the facelifted montegos that came out on a late F reg

Early Montegos have cropped up in my head and conversations several times over the past few days, I hope it's not a premonition ;D Perhaps Street will flog you his?! Most of the ones I still see about are the estates, I guess their practicality makes people hang onto them for that bit longer, like old Peugeots, BX etc.

I was sat in one of the chairs in front of the big green T-Bird next to this thing. I was the non-grumpy looking one without the beard lol
