for some reason i've always liked that horrible shade of green. If only my green sierra (in almost the same colour) had been as fast as that....

for some reason i've always liked that horrible shade of green. That's bizarre - I was about to post exactly the same thought. As a shade it's horribly dated but somehow suits the lines of the S13 perfectly. In fact the S13 I have in GT5 is the same shade of green. It makes quite a weapon tuned up, although I imagined the car modelled for the game would have a CA18DET rather than an SR20DET. Can still crack 400 brake though. I imagine Yuri's is quite handy too. Wasn't Iketani's S13 the same shade in Initial D? Let me check. Yup.

Wow guys, I am extremely honored to have been discovered by someone on retro rides! I have a friend who had an FC RX7 that you guys liked quite a bit, (Crazy Octopus ring any bells?) and am a fan of the board through being introduced by him. (here's his current project if it helps.) I appreciate the love you gents are showing my S13.4. I still own it, although it's in storage right now because I'm back in school for a second degree, and don't want it to get nicked. If interested, here's my current collection of retro rides. My 1989 Nissan 240SX of course: My 1991 Toyota Supra My 1987 Toyota Supra turbo My 1988 Toyota Supra My 1986.5 Toyota Supra parts car My 1987 Ford Ranger My 1987 Saab 9000 turbo (euro market) My 1997 Mazda Miata M-edition My minty fresh 1981 Honda Accord And my pride and joy, a 1977 Datsun 280Z In a strange coincidence, I'm actually a British Citizen who hasn't been to the UK since I was 4. I do still have an up to date passport however, and would like to plan a trip back sometime soon, maybe move out there for a while...

Wow, great collection! Welcome to the forum.
Is that a shed of a celica supra in the background behind the Ranger, along with an MGB?

Thanks everyone! It has to do mostly with cars being cheap over here, although I did have a good paying job as a wheel designer for a while. The orange shell you see is an '83 Toyota Celica GT-S. not an AE86. My Dad bought it for $50 as a donor for his Lotus 7 replica. He then decided MG bits would work better, and bought the MG for $250 and stripped that one down too. Both cars were too rusty to restore. It's funny you should mention AE86's however. I used to have one, and I loved it. I also have had quite the collection in the past. Let me guys know if there's a certain car you'd like to know more about. 1990 Miata 1994 Miata 1997 Jaguar XK8 coupe 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring 1974 Plymouth Duster 2004 Mitsubishi Evo VIII, the only car I've ever bought new, and someone was nice enough to do a studio shoot of it for me. BMW E30 1990 Nissan 240SX hatchback And another 1990 240SX hatchback. This is the car that donated all it's mechanicals to the green S13 after I crashed into the wall during a Formula D qualifier back in 2005 or 2006. And here's some seldom seen pics of the green car.

Awesome cars and an awesome looking house I have to say. Welcome along to retro rides Thank you, as much as I'd like to say that's my house, it's my parents' house in Wisconsin. I live in a small flat in Los Angeles. I just keep a few of my cars there.

Maybe a retro concave faced Turbo style would fit it nicely.......
