Welcome aboard mneame. Are you another basildon boy by any chance? I was hoping to say hi to aronM3 as i saw his car in tescos a few weeks back ;D ;D I don't really get that viva either. Cant work out if its supposed to be ironic or if the guys really serious about it. Still, whatever floats your boat i guess

Me too lol. The person in question needs to be hunted down and stabbed to death by Jeremy Beadle if it turns out he/she is serious!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Even if it is a joke, still a bit of a shame tbh.

I had a great weekend. Great to meet so many of you guys. Stuy and me had an eventful trip home, due mainly to his unwillingness to use maps. Also stopped to assist a girl a couple of cars in front of us who completely wrecked her car on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds. No idea what happened, just saw a huge cloud of smoke and a Suzuki Baleno that was totally mashed up.

why grow up indeed. I really enjoyed that! Not the best performance from car or driver, but what a laugh! Anyone else got any pics of my understeering dust-fest? Christoff?

Alex got told to "get out" when he went for a go in his Mazda ;D, that'll teach him to be "naughty" and try to get a free run when the guy had gone home..... I doubt anyone else would have attempted such a stunt...*pokes rmad*

The guy in the Impreza going round was amazing! I doubt anyone else would have the guts to drive £10ks worth of 4wd turbocharged car around such a tight course at such high speed! 4 wheel drifts right the way round

Not so keen on the Audi A4 diesel though

Oy Oy crew!
Made it back OK yesterday, 1250 miles in total, the yella heap got more and more economical over the weekend and the last tank of juice was consumed at an average of 38mpg, what a car.
At the show I saw Hotwire, Rmad, Datsuncherry, Pog, Berlinetta, MrSigma, Rev Dicky D, PheonixC, Bstardchild, Racer86, Richardjn, ScrapingScrap, Spottedlaurel, V8mike, and doubtless other folk, a great get-together, the atmosphere was just cracking man.
Unfortunately the sunshine was just too much for me and I spent all day groaning, gurning, wheezing and complaining to Fatha_Bo11ox, following up in the afternoon with a chunder-fest in the boys bogs. Ah just like being 3 all over again!
The show itself was class. Such a great mix of stuff, like you will not see anywhere else. I’m not a big show-goer, but for garage inspiration you just cannot beat CaRS. I must have seen less than 50% of the cars on show mind you and did not take any pics, due to acute sunshine-induced lethargy. Car of the show for me was the immaculate blue Datsun 280C with the slightly blingin rims, it was just perfection man, with an honourable mention for Slater’s mini and Stuyizz’s Sapporo…. just superb.
Next year I promise to be more sociable, and either camp over, or arrive at a decent hour. and if it looks super hot, I will spend the previous day hiding in the big fridge at my dads butchers shop.
