They are FWD but they go like hot snot. Won't win any traffic light grand prix's but when they are wound up they go well and are extremely comfortable Cheers, Stu.

well my auto got 15mpg and that had done 220k so i'd have thought it would be slightly higher teens. Awesome cars though regret selling mine I will have another one day..... Looks lovely though are the round fogs later model facelift as mine were rectangular.

Got one recently, To be honest the fuel economy is all about keeping it off boost, so I guess the manual helps. Trip computer reckons 31mpg average over a few hundred miles, mostly motorway . Gets mid 20s on the A/B-roads driving normally, about 20 if going enthusiastically down some B-roads or in town.

Had an auto V70 T5 , basically the same car, and it went like stink! Wish I'd kept it, a really good daily driver that was massive inside and could fit 3 car seats easily. Yes it's front wheel drive, but it's a cracking chassis and with a strut brace fitted it will more than match most. I'd struggle to name a better buy at the moment. T5's are phenomenal value. I got 25 ish from mine over 18 months.

Indeed it is FWD but as you guys have said its an awesome chassis and an awesome car, Its not brilliant on fuel no, although driven off boost is better, but the comfort and speed and the surprise of the power is worth the running costs, As much as it pains me to get rid, I have to, to fund my holiday deposit and thats why i am dropping the price to-- £550 !!! I don't expect it to hang around long!
