Good day to you all,
Having been inspired by another thread on here a few weeks ago and now that I have finally finished the current project on my car, I was wondering whether anyone could suggest a good photo location around Essex (Chelmsford, Southend etc), either graffiti background, industrial or something a little different?
Maybe even set up an evening to do a mini photo shoot of a few cars?
Suggestions welcomed.

I'm game - if I can get the Viva going down the road right. I've got a 450D as well. Don't know any locations though, sorry, but would be up for a retro meet up

Nice one, I think it would work best with a few cars and different people taking photos.
Was thinking maybe a Friday evening in a couple of weeks? Based on what replies come back we can arrange a central meet and location.
Could do a multi storey? Weather doesn't matter then.

The arches down by Weeley village train station have always been grotty and graffiti ridden. Dunno if they still are though

After a brief Google search I came across "Graffiti Alley" in Leake Street near Waterloo.
Anyone tried this? Anyone fancy giving this a try?

the cockle shed down old leigh are good, just getting down there if your car runs really low is a problem! we tend to head to canewdon way and do it in the country road, or old leigh tends to be a nice spot to have a few of your classics taken

oh, just remembered a great place. Hullbridge, right at the end (i'll have to get directions for you all, there is an old holiday site with loads of little run down chalets, closed down about 30 years ago. Its now used for caravan and boat storage but there are plenty of photo oportunities down there. Also, an old friend owns it so no problem with us being there.

If you're going to Southend, in front of the Shoebury Garrison clock tower with Horseshoe Parade in the background might be a good location for a photoshoot.

Il be down with this after next week. There's a good place in chelmo for graffiti, i don't know what the are is called though...
If you come out of the tesco car park in town and head left on the roundabout (right takes you over the flyover to the multi storey), head up that road and i think its the second turning on the right. Follow that road down ( or take first right and follow that road all the way down) and there is a big car park at the end. The far wall is full of graffiti and would make a cracking back drop... Well it did like 4 years ago when i was there last!
