ok - well a seat ibiza, 3dr in black, 1.4 8v, 98k miles, 3 owners (last two being my mrs' dad and my mrs) - 10 months mot, 3 months tax, smattering of history (not much). manual windows, non power steering, utterly terrible tape player, basic basic. clean inside, straight outside but there isn't a panel that's not got either a ding or scratch on. runs like a swiss watch (possibly even better, it's so reliable it's ridiculous), uses no oil or water, drives fine, goes well enough for what it is. underneath it had a patch in the the rear footwell for the mot but the rest is fine.
ok bad bits - clutch a bit stiff, can hear the release bearing occasionally. works fine though (3 piece clutch kit 47 quid on ebay btw). could do with a tyre, it's legal but worn on one edge. it's got a bit of a rattle from the front of the exhaust at low revs - think it's just had a cheap cat on it at some stage - it's not blowing. did I mention it has a really bad tape player in it? reaaally bad? works tho.
don't expect perfection but do expect to get in it no matter how much snows on it and drive wherever you want - it's that kind of deal. however ive given it a hoover, a polish and touched the scratches etc up and it looks rather presentable now.
i've got it advertised for 350 as it would weigh in and cash the tax for 200. reason for sale is the the mrs wanted something little and 2 seater so her dad has had her old a3 and this is now unwanted (boo hoo) after about 6 or 7 years of service - bit of a shame really as there's plenty of life left in it.
