Hi all
I bought this blind after being told it was a Mk2, i was told wrong.
Its to good to break (i dismantle Volkswagens for a living) and non Gti Mk3 stuff doesn't exactly fly off the shelves!
Its actually a pretty good little car, the mileage is pretty low considering its age and its got MOT till September.
I've driven it home a few times and its drives quite nice, theres less rattles and squeaks than my wifes A3, i offered it to her but she didn't want it.
The engines quiet and dry, the tyres are good, the exhaust looks new, the auto box works fine.
At some point someone has fitted VR6 front and rear seats which doesn't really match the rest of the beige interior and the boot has to be opened from the inside, they are the only bad points really. Oh and theres a blemish on one of the rear doors.
With a clean up it'd make a nice little daily cruiser.
