Model: Audi (C4) 100 Sport Year: 1994 (L-reg) Colour: metallic Ruby Red Price: £750 or SWAP? Location: Beaconsfield, 10 mins from M40 J2 Engine: 2.6 V6 petrol Transmission: 5 speed manual gearbox, FWD Mileage: 66,500 miles Service history: complete from Audi main dealer and previous MoT certificates MoT: 10 months (mid March 2012) Tax: 5 months (end of November 2011) Spec: Climate control air conditioning in working condition but is a bit weak and could do with a re-gas, 4 x elec windows, elec sunroof, elec mirrors, central locking, CD-player with 8 speakers, sports seats, alloy wheels. As you expect of a car with such a low mileage and full service history, the car is in superb condition inside and out. It drives great, looks great and goes well. Light scratches to bumper corners (on black inserts), otherwise mint. Good tyres, exhaust, all electrics work. Alloys are original Audi but the spare is a steel wheel. I've done 50 miles in it since buying it, in which time I've done over 400 miles in my W123. I've finally realised that I don't NEED two cars and that my W123 is everything I want in a car. I paid over a grand for the Audi, so someone is gonna get a bargain. |

The car is in amazing condition. The previous owner (4 years) had it in his collection of Audis, all of which were stored under cover in a large warehouse.
Apparently the late 100 (C4) Sport is a very rare model. It is stated as a 100 Sport on the logbook but did not appear in any Audi publications or price lists. Apart from the CD player, it is 100% standard and original.
I thought this was going to be my dream daily. Smooth V6, 5 speed manual 'box, beautiful interior, decent stereo... but it's just too modern, too quiet and too smooth. The best thing about this car are the front seats. Fully adjustable in every direction and amazingly comfortable.

The paint and bodywork are original. There is no evidence of any panel repairs (apart from two bumper corners that have been touched in) , all the panels are straight and match (colour). The car was supplied and serviced by Barnards Audi VW main dealer. Fully stamped service book. The history comes with almost all previous MoTs to confirm mileage and lay up. Most recent service was carried out at 64,083 miles, approx 4 years ago. Car has been in dry storage for four years - see my blog. MoT done on the 12th of March 2011 at 66,413 miles. Mileage now is 66,550 miles. Considering that the same dealer looked after the car between '94-'07, I expect the cam belt must have been changed at some point but there are no records of this. this might be a little off topic, but i have an unused badgeless grille for one of these that i was planning to fit my old 100 s4 until I sold it.
Available cheap to the new owner if they want it...
