Car is now sold
For sale is my 1993 "L" Range Rover Vogue Classic 3.9 V8 EFi in Plymouth blue.
Tax to end June 2011
MOT to 30th November 2011
Passed last MOT with no advisories.
Car has covered 117,755 miles, not got any history with it apart from MOT's going back to 2006.
Car has been converted to run on LPG and is noted as Petrol/Gas on the V5 which is present and correct. The LPG system has twin tanks mounted underneath leaving the boot free for carrying stuff. Tanks hold about 48 litres and I've been getting around 150-160 miles from a fill when using to travel to work.
Runs fine on both LPG and petrol.
Autobox changes gear as it should in both Hi and Lo range.
Engine sounds nice and runs really well on both Gas and Petrol, doesn't lose any coolant. Gave it an oil change in February and has only done about 1500 miles since.
The interior is finished in grey velour which is unmarked and very good order. There is no sagging in the headlining as can be common on the classics. Carpets are in nice order too being protected by genuine Range Rover rubber mats.
Heater works on all speeds and put out plenty of heat over the winter.
The only thing that doesn't work are the electric mirror motors although the heater elements do, as does the heated rear screen.
Both the upper and lower tailgates are in good order with just some surface rust and a dent in the lower. The lock is a bit sticky in the tailgate and will only open with the key inserted.
The body is in overall good condition with a few areas where the ally body panels have lost their paint.
The front nearside wheel arch has suffered some damage at some point in the past, but not really that noticeable.
Door shuts are solid, just starting to show some surface rust.
Paint work polishes up nicely and has a nice deep colour to it with some scratches as to be expected for age.
Front bullbars and lights give the car a purposeful look .
Pictures show the car on 3 alloys and the spare which is how the car was when I got it. I have sourced a 4th correct colour alloy to go with it which just needs the tyre swapping on to it, I also brought an unused spare wheel and tyre so there is still a spare in the boot.
