Damn you Ebay.... another car on its way! When it arrives I'll see how bad it really is, but it doesn't look too rotten... Nice dunlop alloys - but too greater gap between the tyre and the wheel arch. Time to deploy the stick. And then repaint... *not* black. ;D

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Yeeeeeeeeah, love it!
I would absolutely adore one of those, unfortunately Imps aren't hugely common in NZ and a Chamois, next to impossible to get, maybe not find.. but get. Sucks eggs.

Imps used to be a common as condoms in a sheep paddock when i lived in New Zealand. A girl at my school had a mettallic blue Stilletto ,and the local mechanic had a hot imp that would routinely blow the doors off minicoopers etc....they seemed to be everywhere back in the day.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

Well, the Stiletto is now safely locked up in my compact and bijou garage awaiting my attentions with a spanner or three. I'm impressed with it! The sills and floors are mint and thats the tricky bit with an Imp. It also has rare Koni dampers all round (adjustable platforms on the front), plus its had the headlining replaced at some point in the not too distant past. Even the black is beginning to grow on me. Yup, its got a few scabs and uglies but I reckon I can get an MOT on it pretty easily. Woddya reckon, two weeks? I'll take some snaps of it once its had a wash and polish, plus I've got it running ( so I can get it back out on my driveway).

Maybe it's just my location but that's certainly not the case anymore!
