Simpson Salvage seem to have acquired a bunch of unused and unabused shells for Fords.... they've got some mk5 Scort Cabs, mk1 Mondeos but i thought most interestingly for us lot would be this.... Mk1 Sierra XR4x4 shell - £599They say they have others available, don't know if there's anything else retro

Wow. What an ideal base for a project that'd be! If you were to build a car from one, would it need to go on the dreaded Q-Plates?
Mmm, I'm building it in my head now... maybe a Turbo'd Zetec, or a 302 V8... or something left-field like Mondeo ST Diesel running gear (they really shift!)

Is it any different from what MG owners do when they do a Heritage reshell? I'd imagine you'd need another car to donate all those stupid small bits.

If its the same place the sierra club discoverd this place too. One guy had his eye on a new mk3 Transit shell. People wont even fork out 595 for a full sierra car, but its well worth it if your building summat special IMO.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts
