For sale is my 1994 Golf diesel. Its the non turbo engine but it really does buzz along well and happppilllyyy sits at 70/80 mph without a worry. Please don't be put off by the straight diesel as I was, as its really not that slow!
It has the bosch fuel pump, and can be run on vegetable oil without a worry. I've been doing around 130-150 mile a day in it on used veggie oil (all properly filtered etc) and been averaging about 55-58MPG combined, driving sensibly.
Its had a service a few months ago, including oil, all filters etc.
Its a really [clean 5 door shell with no rust, though the front grill is slightly out of shape and the bumpers have a few scuffs. No dents/deep paint blemishes though.
Such a simple car to work on, everything can be fixed with a spanner/screwdriver, no stupid electronics etc.
Its been faultless since ive had it, and starts first turn every time.
It had replacement shocks all round a few years ago (receipts), as well as glow plugs and a starter motor about 18 months ago.
Tyres/Brakes/Clutch/Suspension/Gearbox/Engine etc all good. Clutch bites high, but not even close to slipping etc.
Has a good few months MOT and just been taxed for 6 months.
Selling as I fancy a change. Still have my Alfa 155, but try me, however cash is king. No money to put to a PX from me though.
