Sick of working on the house, it didn't take much convincing when I was invited to head over to Milton Keynes in the MX5 for the 2nd meet for Stanceworks UK last Sunday.
Early Sunday morning I headed down to Area 52 to do another tweak to the ride height on the car then met Butterz. We headed off to Swindon to hook up with Rob (Godders from MX5 Nutz) with the black MX5, as seen in my build thread, before winding our way across the A-roads to Milton Keynes.
The drive there was great, some brilliant A-road action with a good share of sparks lighting up the roads from the odd bit of chassis interaction with the tarmac.
The details given showed the entrance to a carpark where the ramp wasn't finished yet....and I thought must be some kind of initiation procedure. To say it scraped in was an understatement! Bad choice of entrance for a meet with 99% slammed cars (not aware that there was a much smoother entry point around the corner on the dual carriageway!)
Anyway, once in and parked up I had a wander around with the camera and got some shots. So did Dave (hopefully he'll post some pics up too?) Mostly modern stuff, but with a smattering of Retro as well. All of it very nicely done.....have a look and see for yourself:
