tow hook/eye, that comes out of front grille I had one that came in the car that had rusted clean off? I don't think it has one now. is this a fail with the MOT man anyone know? not that i'm short of faults! O/T looking for front pics i found this, nice in thumbnail, and nice in theory, bit too much plastic in reality though.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Nope. My kit car never had one and passed every time. Although it was registered as a '69, if that makes any difference...

roll it onto a towing dolly and drag you to the nearest garage. The only times that I needed a recovery I requested that it was such a vehicle to do the job.

When my stupid rubbish daily smoker Megane broke, it got winched onto the truck by something underneath (it was dark, so I couldn't see where the guy was hooking on) not the clearly visible tow eye at the front.
Maybe the wishbone? I dunno.

They tried to tow my car onto a flat bed by the wishbone, exept I requested he did it from the towing eye as it was going to rip my bumper off, He replied that it was at my own risk as they sometimes rip off the car, so I replied that if it rips off the car it is useless to me anyway!

My monza doesnt have one fitted at the front. A lot of 70`s cars don't have them anyway. Rally cars have to have them fitted and identified but road cars I don't think there are any MOT related laws.
