Especially modified ones? Although I probably woudn't even like them if I lived in Oz, it's the almost-unknown-ness that appeals the most! |

Don't really know of any sites, but you can find a lot of sites in Australia by going to www.yahoo.com.au (note the au bit) and selecting to search for sites only in Australia and typing in the sort you are interested in or searching for cars for sale. In almost any good weekend newpaper you will find a couple of Datsun 120Ys, a few 180Bs, a cou0ple of 200Bs, and that is just the Datsuns. This site is a good one. It is for the Trading Post classified newpaper which is Australia wide and has all listings online. Have a browse and enjoy seeing all the cars you don't in the UK! www.tradingpost.com.au/ |

Out here they are called 240K Skylines, and htey have the same motor as a 240Z.
My next door neighbour has one, a metallic gold 4 door automatic. He tried to sell it for $1,000 (about 400 pounds) but got no takers.
My other neighbours also have an early 80s Datsun Sunny in pretty good nick, and there is a bloke in the next village with an immaculate Datsun 1000. There also used to be a bloke down the road with a beautiful Mazda RX3 coupe with personalise plates "RX 3073" as it was a 1973 model.
Shipping a car from Australia to England costs about 1000 pounds I think, but that might include insurance or paperwork I don't know.
If you look at all the Cheap Holdens and Falcons on that Trading Post site, you will want to ring an importer in no time I bet!
