Electric fuelpump has been bought today and will be mounted on friday i whould guess.. Hopefully the problem will be gone then! Today i also had a note in the mailbox when i got home, a package to collect.. anyone got an idea of what that could be?!  Will collect it first thing after work tomorrow! //Alex |

Today my brother made brake caliper adapters for the volvo things!  Testmounted:  Fits perfect!  No difference than the original?  Should make it stop nice! Just left to redrill the discs or the hubs.. What whould you do? To do the discs is easiest, but if i will change them i have to do it again, no big job though.. I think i will do the discs! Then there is just some brakelines, tyres etc. Have to have atleast 14" with this brakes but should be nice! //Alex |

Well, got another package today.. But now the payment from the summer is starting to run out!  I guess nobody is that interested in the package thouhg, so no need to post pics or anything i think.. Now i will be away for the weekend! Will get started with the new things sunday afternoon or on monday! //Alex |

Well, yesterday i got a week of from school, but don't think i just relax now! I'm working today and tomorrow, but no time to rest.. I have "booked" a testdrive on a racetrack in 3 weeks time, so now i really need to get started.. Yesteray i moved the rearaxle brackets becouse i had gotten the angle all wrong.. But now thats good! A panhard rod is left and then the rearsuspension should be complete. After that i got started on rebuilding the rearwheel arches as they are so small.. Continued with that today after work so now one side is amlost done. Some more welding and it should be good. Will get started on the other side tomorrow and hopefully they should be finished pretty soon, monday sometime.. Some pictures so you can see that i actually have done something!     Once its all done it will sit a bit lower to! I think thats all from now.. Now there should be updates almost everyday.. Just hope i can make the testdrive, without to much improvisation.. Oh, and the thing that worrys me the most is that it will be snow and/or ice then. But that could be fun to! //Alex |

Well, now i feel bad for not updating on a long time.. Rear wheel arches have been cut out and are almost done: '   Crappy pictures, i know.. Front brakes are done, just need to run some brakelines and bleed them, shouldnt be to much work! I have also started to think about the engine, if i get the "body/car" done before the winter is over i might take the engine out and change bearings and gaskets, so i can tune it alittle.. But i think i will wait with that, 140hp should be enough next summer! The white is alive, i cleaned it out a few weeks ago, looks pretty solid!  I can tell you that its quite fun to drive on roads with only ice on them, with summertires.. Well, i will try to update more often now, i want to get it out, maybe on the ices this winter?? //Alex |

Well, i know its been a long time since i updated, mainly becouse i havent really done anything on the car. School has been killing me for a month :/ But today I started working on it alittle! I will upload some old pictures to..  Painted the valve cover alittle fast, i might keep it or i might paint it again..  Still a huge mess with cables etc under the bonnet!  Out in the cold weather and snow!  To cold for the viva!  Empty!  And this side empty to!  I love the height and camber in rear.. To bad it wont get any of it!    The brake adjustment valve, everything just assembled fast, nothing will be as it is  Camber..  Not that big difference on the driveshafts between my volvo axle and my brothers ford axle.. All for now, i hope to update soon again! //Alex |

Looks awesome how does it go with that Volvo engine Thanks! I feel curse word for not working on it more though.. I blame the snow outside! It runs pretty well.. Cant say that i have alot to compare with, and the gearing was weird when i drove it with the viva axle. But it really felt lika it was a monster! And that was with ignition that was really bad, and badly adjusted CO, it was almost impossible to drive under 2000rpm, but from 2000-7000 went fast.. Next summer i will test it some more, feels like the brakes will be needed! Maybe ill get it out on a icetrack this winter to. //Alex |

Hello! Now it was a very long time since i updated here.. So what has happend?! Well, not much sadly.. The winter outside didnt make it feel like it soon whould be drivable with summertires, so i didnt feel rushed, it would be done as soon as the snow was gone anyway.. Sure! the roads have been clean for about a month now.. Atleast I took it for a testdrive today! The brakes work fine, or they need to be bled some more and it leaks alittle! I also had the engine in parts, painted it and changed some gaskets, skimmed the head 1.5mm.. A "new" bigger radiator of an BMW was fitted, now it should go hot.. So the rearsuspension is now "done", a pair of new shocks and other springs are on the list, but not needed right now so. I'm thinking of coilovers in the rear to.. The hood has gotten 4 hoodpins, so its easy to take of and wont be in the way. It will get a new propshaft, thats prio 1! This one has loads of wobble and unbalanced.. Brakes will be adjusted, new seats have been bought, the drivers seat is in place but the passenger seat still needs brackets. I'm hoping to be able to take if for a real drive next week or the weekend after that, not that my motivation is back! sorry that i don't have any pictures at the moment.. Princess Volksangyl Working on the picture update now.. Sadly i havent really done that much that shows on pictures though.. :/ I found a set of seatcovers for the white HA, now they are fitted, not really right on the picture though..  Brakes all fitted! New discs, pads and calipers in the front.   I have cleaned the cables up alittle etc, atleast its better than before..  Alittle tight.. Well, will get some more fuel tomorrow so i can testdrive it some more.. Might will do some new brakelines at the work to, so i get it just as i want it! I think thats about it.. I have i video to of it running, but i don't have anywhere to upload it, plus its so bad quality.. I hope my brother will get some better pics and videos of it in the weekend! //Alex |
