I think it's a Proboards thing.. This is what I'm getting:  It would appear that all of the details are entered one column too far to the left. I don't have any options to edit/delete the post or user. I think we'll have to put up with it until Proboards realise their gaff. |

Hi all, Patrick Clinger from ProBoards here. We spoke with HoTWire prior to testing out this new ad format and received his approval.
You'll notice that there are zero banner ads on RetroRides right now. Instead of 1-2 banner ads per page, now it is just this one small ad when viewing a board. The ad integrates nicely into the page so that it isn't ugly, and the advertising is relevant to the site.
We think this type of advertising is far less intrusive/ugly compared to banner ads. We're definitely interested in what you think about the ad format compared to banners.

Hi Patrick,
I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue if the ad matched the format of the board...as you can see in the screenshot above the whole thing appears to be one column to the left, which changes the look of the board entirely. If the subject was in the subject column it would all be relatively unobtrusive.
That said, seeing as only two people seem to be suffering this particular wrong column issue (surely more people would have mentioned it if they were?) it might just be a Chrome thing.

Thanks for the details. I think we know what the problem is -- if anyone having this problem disables "advanced moderation mode" they should see everything fine.
We'll work on a fix for this ASAP.

Everything fine for me, and has been.
TBH if this is the price for having no banners, it's all good. Doesn't annoy me in the slightest whereas the banners did, especially the irrelevant/offensive ones we got at one time, nevermind the imaging problems and so on. Great idea, if we have to have ads at all.

It's all fine with me, I was worried it was some sort of hack virus thing as certain details looked odd like the view count and the position on the board.
Much better than the banner adds.
