Hey folks,
Well, due to my knee really giving up the ghost, I now have to sell my manual cars and go Auto
I'll start with my daily Golf estate.
It's an awesome car, see's 50/60MPG with ease, even on a recent spirited drive (late for hospital appointment) it still say way over 45mpg. I wish it was auto!
Anyway, details.....
Price.... £700
Location... Leicester or Wellingborough
Volkswagen Golf Estate
1.9 TDi (90bhp)
1996, N reg
Dark blue metallic (hint of purple)
MOT til Mid September
Taxed til end of October
162000 miles
Power steering
4 x keep fit windows
Fairly recent clutch
Serviced about 2000 miles ago, uses no oil, new wipers etc
Previous owner did the front brakes probably around 5000 miles ago
Steel wheels with good tyres (2 very recent, 1 has slight inner edge wear, tracking done recently)
Very tidy interior, smells of magic tree's and Khaos monster engery drink (which I dropped yesterday, obviously cleaned straight away)
Load cover
GREAT heater
Towbar (i've never used it, previous owner tells me it was his fathers before he bought it and he was a bit of a gardener, so no heavy towing there)
Blaupunkt CD/MP3 and stock speakers
4 VW mud flaps
Roof rails
Bad bits,
Lost V5, reciept will be given if the one i've ordered doesn't turn up before sold.
Couple of bits of surface rust on front drivers wing, bottom of the drivers side doors and a small dent on the bootlid.
Front bumper has had a minor impact, I put a used (but straight) bumper support bar on which has straighten the bumper out, it previously sat about 1" in (maybe able to see in the pics, bumper bar fitted after pics taken), tow cover replaced aswell.
Ariel half snapped, will hopefully get one from a breakers yard before it sells.
All in all, it's a great car and if it wasn't for my knee being an , there is no way i'd be selling it. The engine starts on the turn of a key, i'm not joking, it starts faster than my mrs brand new Golf diesel (company car) the gearbox is great, the brakes are great, it's just great!!
Pics.....
Will take more pics ASAP
