Got the pick up running real well... took time and advice ! ;D Managed to get it cooling itself to a certain degree ! ;D Painted it ! (satin black - a temporary but useable measure) Going on holiday tomorrow - last minute thing... I'll just pop a hole in here for the number plate bolt... PUT THE DRILL THROUGH THE RADIATOR !!!!!!!!! WHAT THE BEJEEZUS WAS I THINKING !!!!!!!! ?// Hoping to have it repaired by CARS - I'm on hols tomorrow until next saturday so it needed to be finished today... what a tit !

Oh mate thats harsh, disengage brain, pick up drill! I'm sure itll be fine, just crack an egg into the system, thatll block the hole up!

I've left the rad with a trustworthy friend who's getting it sorted, brazed up i guess... As they say in this neck of the woods - "be reet !" heres how she looks now...

Class A Genius ;D ;D ;D, I was making some wheel arches for my hot rod several years ago and drilled straight into the tyre, fecking great Kelly supercharger as well so you'd have thought I'd seen it. TIT. ;D

i did a similar thing once while fitting a tow bar to the wifes old rover i was under the car and started drilling into the boot floor and thought what the hell is that noise i had just drilled through the spare ;D ;D ;D

I do remember a friend drilling a hole in his boot to bolt down a sub or something and drilling through his spare tyre.

ha ha, what a bo11ock. I once drilled a hole in the boot floor of my Granada to let all the rainwater out. Cleverly I drilled into the petrol tank, thus allowing the rainwater to drain straight into it.

This appears to be a common mistake among granada owners, my mate bought a scorpio cosworth that had the exact same thing done to it...
