Heya, a few weeks ago I rescued a 1974 Honda PC50 from a skip. The frame seems to be shot, I doubt itll make it though an MOT. Is there anyone out there with one available that I could buy? Also- does anyone know what the colour/paintcode of it is?

If you do change the frame for another second hand one then officially you will end up with a 'Q' plate which you don't want to do. How bad is it really could it not be welded? Not many breakers bother keeping/ selling frames for smaller stuff as they are worth more in weight than they are as a sale. Maybe look out for another project bike with a better frame and transfer the good stuff from this one onto that

Yeah just looks like surface rust mostly. If its soft and crusty then you have to worry. But then it would be in a lot worse state than yours to be at that point.

I had a PC50with "Little Honda" leg shields for a long time, ARN44R, and is was utterly reliable even if parked for months on end.
Sold it in '96 to fund a house deposit.
^^ Love the grey one!
