Here's my Legacy Outback. Some of you will know that I bought this to use as a donor for my T25, but I thought I'd give someone else the chance to make use of it before I strip it down! First of all it's rough and it needs a new exhaust and I can't get one from any of the exhaust places round here. (Apparently, they're in development ) They are available on eBay for around the £300 mark, but I can't be sure they'll fit and I can't be arsed to muck about and find out
Good points - It's a big estate, so great for lugging stuff around, Seats fold flat so big enough to sleep in as well (I'm 5' 8") Twin electric sunroofs, one tilt, one slide, Electric windows all round which all work, central locking which works on the key, but not on the blipper thingy, good tyres all round with bags of tread on. Leather and suede interior in nice condition, just a bit of wear on the drivers seat. It's an auto for that lazy cruising ability, but also has a fair turn of pace for a big car When I bought it the guy had just replaced the head gaskets, which was the main reason I went for it, the timing was out, but that's since been sorted. Finally, good ground clearance (no more worrying about speed bumps!) which is a novelty if all you've ever had is stuff lowered to death Decent stereo!
Bad points - Few dents, big one back LHS (great for I don't care if you hit me/I hit you driving) bit of a whine from the gearbox, been doing it since I bought it 6000 miles ago, alloys are tatty and as already mentioned the exhaust!
Personally, I'd keep it, but the exhaust is an issue and I don't really have the time or inclination to sort it out, which is a shame! I love this car. It's a revelation driving something which goes up kerbs, over speed bumps and can be left in a parking space anywhere without worrying about it being scratched or damaged! I would recommend it to anyone
It's taxed until the end of the month and insured so happy for anyone to come and take it away!
I'm after something like a Polo estate, small estate small engine etc for swaps, but not really interested in less cash, it's worth that to me for stuff to put in the van which is where it'll end up if none of you lot are interested
Piccies
Thanks for looking,
Pete
