Ermm yes this is slightly embarissing and I know its my own fault for throwing my toys out of the pram. But would it be possible to get control of my 2 build threads so that I can update the titles.

I assume you mean threads made in your old name? I don't think there is a way of giving you control of what is effectively someone else's thread. What might be possible is for someone to merge the old threads into a new one.
Start new threads for the cars (with the titles you want - be sure they follow the rules) and post the links to the new and old threads here. I'll try and merge the old posts into the new threads.

Done.
Although it didn't quite work out how I'd planned! I think we have conclusive proof that leaving and coming back isn't an effective move. I moved all of the posts from the old thread into the new one and it seems to have changed them chronologically...thus creating the old thread with you (well, the old you) as the first poster. Note the thread is the new thread [102074] even though we've pretty much achieved nothing.
