A proper Outlaw badge is an honourable thing. They'd change hands for big money, if anyone was ever willing to sell one...
The idea of the Outlaw 356 was basically all-out performance; a Porsche hot-rod - big power, function-over-form race-inspired aesthetic, and a poke in the eye for the purists. You can see the origins of the VW Cal-look in there too - nerf bars, uncompromising stance etc.

Yep, I love the greenish one as well. It was in VW Magazine Australia a couple of years or so ago and I thought it was the coolest air-cooled car I've ever seen. It very probably still is. Beautiful!

Nicely written and researched post there Jader!
I've always had a thing for old outlaw Porkers - in fact pretty much all porkers! I kinda like the idea of a Cayman (IMO Porsche's nicest, most obtainable current car) done in an outlaw style...

Porsche 924 - gone Citroen Saxo VTR - not very retro but I loved it - now gone... MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T - gone but hardly remembered... Mini Cooper S R53 - gone BMW 125d Coupe - gone (mostly sideways)
Ford Focus RS Mk1 - hello low MPGs and "wanna race me" at every set of lights... 1973 BMW 2002 - Twin 40's, 284 Cam, Revolutions, E21 Recaros + more Porsche Cayman 987 3.4S - here and due to cost me more money than I have

I kinda like the idea of a Cayman done in an outlaw style... This has been my plan for some time, as soon as my lottery numbers come up. ;D

This has been my plan for some time, as soon as my lottery numbers come up. ;D I test drove an S at the weekend recently (not that I can afford one yet) but give it a few years and a decent one will set you back £15k. THEN I am going to get one and live the dream They handle soooooooooo well.
