Ok, I've cheated a bit here, as they are mostly in the same spot. But I had to share them with you. All these cars all belong to fellow retro rider member JonCedric. This is his daily driver and should be at the retro cars show. Its fast, noisy and total tat. I love it. This has got a Rover V8 block in it and sounds ace. Jon specialises in restoring air cooled VW's and J-cars. And has very reasonable rates. He's based near Telford. Few more here. www.reallyloud.co.uk/cars/cars15.htm

excellent pics, that 260Z looks pretty mean! I love these little Honda's, couple for sale in Holland for up to 6,000 euros... ridiculous money imo.

Stop it stop it stop it!
'metro love' is not only illegal but it is morally very very wrong.
The only love I feel for metro's is when I see on en route to the CRUSHER.

I hated Metros with a passion and still would never consider one, but its is nice to come across a clean unmolested example. The geezer who owned this one was a elderly gardener. He seemed completely baffled by my request to photograph his car.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Some nice cars , does he still have the Z32TT? Did you get a chance to see the yellow violet by any chance?
So does this mean that your B310 wagon will be wearing black & white at CARS? ;D

Metro's rock! Admittedly when it became a Rover 100 and lost the A-series they became a bit cack but prior to that they are cool. I would love a white MG metro turbo ;D, and don't forget that without the Metro the MG 6R4 would never have existed I just wish I was young enough to have seen Tony Pond (the mustachioed rally god) ragging one as he is above!

Sorry for my Metro Hatred.
I think it stems from when one of my mates had one when we was young. He used to drive it like he stole it... literally - were talking turning right at roundabouts without going round them, jumping red lights etc. Proper knobbish stuff.
The discomfort and fear of travelling in that 1.0 sh1tebox has left a mental scar on me.

nice selection, one of those cherry coupe things comes quite high on my wants list My mum had a base model a-reg metro when i was at primary school it seemed pretty rubbish at the time ;D Especially when to the delights of my school mates the exhaust dropped of right in front of the school ;D secretly i'd like to get hold of another.

So does this mean that your B310 wagon will be wearing black & white at CARS? He still has the Z32, as well as 2 710's. A coupe and saloon both in the same fetching shade of yellow. Not a scratch on yours though. oh, I forgot to post this too. Anyone recognise it? I *think* I saw it in street machine years ago.

Yes it would but it would probably have been a Maestro 6R4 instead. Got to admit I feel no love for metros whatsoever. Driven them before but don't like them one jot.
