I need to buy a pair of fibreglass seats, to be used without padding in my buggy, I've found a few kit car manufacturers that make them for around the £80 mark, and an off road outfit (QT Services)... Any other suggestions, I really don't want to spend more than £100 a seat, for bare fibreglass high back buckets. Anybody seen anything? Suggest anything? Oh yeah and they've got to be pretty slim fit too... Cheears ;D Oh, just remembered, any composite people tell me about slicing harness holes into fibreglass and the problems I'm likely to encounter? Just wonder about messing up the rigidity, but my harnesses have to come through the sides of the base and seat back due to their mounting points.

you can get bare lotus seats which might do the trick, like those from an elise? They would already have harness holes too. Call 01708 343904, ask for wayne and say keith told you to call. I havent a clue on prices, sorry.

Howabout making them yourself. Not a good pic I know, but Keith (driver in the pic) made these ones himself from fibreglass for very little cost, and now has the mould to make more should the need arise. These are very narrow as he made them for his Locost and has just fitted them to his Dutton while he is modifying that.

Thanks for that keefy, I'll call and see about price.
Had thought about making some myself, but time comes into play... Fair play to your mate, I like what I can see... Would he be interested in knocking up a couple more?
Best I can find are from Fisher Cars, £150 for a pair, which I reckon is about as good as it gets. And a fair price when I consider the work involved. ;D
