Sorry mate. Had mine done the other month. Looks a bit like yours... quarter window was smashed. Looks like it was prised with a screwdriver for some reason as the surround was buckled. Why not just hit it? Anyway I'm ultra paranoid now. Not sure how close you are to me? Something dodgy going on in Bristol?

Sorry to see that - I know only too well the sick feeling you get when you see that pile of glass.
Hull used to be really bad when I was a student there. My old man's Passat got done when I took it to drop my stuff off, and my mate's Fiesta got done not once, but 3 times.
First time they cut the window seal out and stole his stereo, CD and speakers, second time they nicked it, rallied it round some waste ground, ran it out of fuel and abandoned it so when the police called we went and got it back. Third time he disconnected the starter solenoid so it wouldn't start using the 'screwdriver in the ignition switch' method, so they bumped it off, rallied it and wrapped it round a concrete bollard. He was only insured 3rd party so he had to go to the pound, collect his belongings and walk away...

So they tried to bust every lock and then broke a window anyway? Real high quality thieves.
Gutted for you though.

Man that sucks big time, get down the breakers and get a new window in it or you might not be covered on your insurance mate, hope your luck picks up. Rusty

Really unfortunate pretty much every time i go to bristol i see a new car that has had an attempted/successful break in. A friend who's at the uni used to park his car on the street just down the road from his halls and twice he came back to find someone had prised back the door top, the second time shattering the window.
