Decent days fun for £10. Fairly poor turnout but it was a good venue. Two surfaces, very grippy concrete and fairly tight tests at the top didnt suit the monza and very slippy dusty rough gravel surface at the lower site were great fun. Always loved this MK2. 2.1 running twin 48`s sounds excellent and is very quick. 2.0 Pinto powered Dutton won the event. 1.6 zetec`d Locust not far behind My 99 pence ebay tyres are looking decidedly unhappy Most of the dust blew off on the way home. Unfortunately the monza didnt survive the day unscathed, see other thread

Looks a right laugh, always meant to have a bash at this but nowhere locally doing it whe I looked into it except one place but you had to have a Mini.

Didnt realise that was a lower ratio.. I ham happy with the ratio for road use and depends on the venue as to what I need. Today was a bit awkward as the test I needed higher gearing as I was bouncing off the rev limiter (first time I have found it ) And at the top I needed a lower one. Most off the time on the concrete I was getting no higher than 3000rpm when I had traction which makes it a curse word to chuck it across a line
