I was just about to put this through the MOT and advertise it for £850 but sadly the gearbox went pop. If it doesn't sell by time the MOT is up I will put a new gearbox/mot on it and sell it for the full price.
Gearboxes can be found on ebay for £50-£150 and it's about 3-4 hours work, I was quoted £180 by my local garage to do the work.
Good bits:
It's a very tidy car, cant find any rust in the usual area's, front cross member is rust free.
Cheap tax (£125 per year)
Good mpg will get around 200 miles to a tank around town, which is about £38's worth of petrol.
Has a full tank of petrol as can be seen in pics, only managed 27 miles so must have about £35 in.
Did run great until the g/box went. Never let me down, car can be started but as said before the gearbox oil pumps out kinda quick.
It has power steering and sun roof.
Interior is in great condition.
All 4 tyres are great
Cant see it needing anything for MOT
Bad bits
Main issue is broken gearbox

No stereo but it has the din adapter, stole the cd player for my new car.
Couple of little scratches and a rust patch on the roof the size of a 5p
