The TA22 is a cool car. Don't even worry about getting cool bits for it until all the rust holes are gone and it's road legal. It's tempting and exciting but will ultimately waste your money.

As above. Get the 'very rusty' bits sorted, then make it awesome. Good luck

I have a set of arches I bought to put on my 23 but they are meant for a 22 so gonna need a bit of playing with to fit to mine, and now kinda like it without arches, also bought the front air dam to match, but doesnt line up with the front on my 23 as again its different to the t22.... ill dig out some pics... but these wont be for sale untill youve sorted the other bits, passed your test and eaten all your greens! ;-) heres a couple of old pics.. not too good though knickers... pics don't seem to wanna play! try here www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/gallery/album/19-carl-b/page__st__25

There are a number of people here and at celica-club.com who can help, but find out what you need first, then ask specific questions. And don't take too much notice of the 'oh it's a Celica the rust is bound to be terminal' posts - they don't rot any more than any other 35 - 40 year old car and even the worst of them don't suffer serious structural rot apart from the outer sills and lower rear arm location points. When you get the car, I can give you a check list of things to look at, although to be honest, most of it will be readily apparent.
