Hi guys,
Just getting the mini ready for mot and a quick set up of the carbs is needed. Struggler ing to find good info as to what pressure to set the fuel reg at. Currently just over 3psi. Some people seem to say that's spot on other more like 1psi...
Any tips?

they will run from anythin between 1 and 3, some can push to 3.5, but most are gravity fed so don't need much pressure
i played about with pressures on mine, 1.5 would run and use less fuel, i ran 2-2.5 most the time and 3-3.5 when i wanted a really good blast as it kept pushin in fuel well past 7000rpm

All the fuel pressure does is fill the float bowls, the fuel is transferred into the throats using pressure differentials in the numerous passage ways in the carb bodies.
So you need enough pressure to keep the bowls full, but not so much that you are forcing it past the float needle valves and overfilling them. Usually about 2psi with a high flow rate is enough.

As has been said, I'd err on the side of caution with fuel pressures. The fuel pressure only fills the float bowls, the fuelling itself is dictated by the workings of the carb, needle height, jet sizes etc. Too much pressure can lead to overflowing float bowls, and a big fire!
