My five least favourite cars in no particular order are; Daewoo Matiz, I had the misfortune of hiring one on holiday last year, they come with crappy 3 cylinder engines however ours had a plug lead that had fallen off so it was only running on two Four up that was funny, not, it also understeered more than any car I have ever driven. Audi TT just because they seem to be driven by idiots that know nothing about cars and they are so common nowadays to the point of tedium Rover Streetwise, I question the sanity of the people that bought a Rover 25 just because it had jacked up suspension that probably made it handle worse. What's the point of a "Urban On-Roader"? Errmmmmm and that's it I can't think of anymore, I have run out of hate ;D

I actually quite like most of the cars that have been mentioned so far in this thread ;D CityRovers are BRILLIANT! Fascinating last-ditch attempt by a once great marque. What's not to find interesting about that? It's also interesting to note how many cars are nominated as a result of the stereotypical driver/"image" rather than the actual vehicle itself

I'm also a lover of all cars and hater of none... except one ! sorry guys... just seen TOO many curse word ones to even think about ever owning one. ;D fair do's I know what you mean i think of some barried ones, and fat hairy old men still driving em tired with tow bars (not me! LOL) plus horror stories of how unreliable peoples dailys were. My colleague has lasted 10 yrs witha looked after mondeo, before that he had a mk1 3 door and it was apprent lya shonky piece of tat falling to bits. Thank god mine are modified and the others new!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Probes are Mazda based, but the Cougar is Mondeo based.

Started typing it out but realised I can't think of many cars I actually hate. Even Corsa B 5 doors can be cool in the right hands!! I suppose I don't like soft-roaders much or any kind of people carrier, has always baffled me as to why anyone with kids suddenly can't have a regular car anymore and has to "upgrade" to what is basically a van with more seats and windows. Whatever happened to the lost art of driving round with your tailgate open and things tied down with rope?

Not good with soft roaders and MP3's myself either but thats more to do with the owners and their choice. obv the cars in question do have potential. that porsche ceyane thing annoys me though a fair bit, and x5's are just aggro!

Yeah, my wife thinks that when we start a family the Celica has to be replaces with a PT Cruiser or something? One small child and suddenly you need a transit van?
Anyway. My list of hate:
1. Audis. All of them since about 1990 especially the TT and A3/A4. Driven by people trying to prove they are even more obnoxious than BMW drivers. Local chavvos buy 10 year old A4s now to look "posh". This is the only one I'm going to put down as a "I hate it because of the people who drive it."
2. Citroen AX. We had one and it was the worst car in the world ever. Nasty to drive, unreliable, bits fell off it. It wasn't even a cheap old banger. 1 owner 5 or 6 year old thing.
3. Corsa. Amazing how many people have these listed already. They just suck to drive. suck suck suck suck. And the 3 cylinder one sounds like a tractor.
4. Rover 213. I has one on a C plate when it was a young car. First modern car I bought. I was young and foolish and I didn't buy another modern for years this one put me off so much. Awful lack of performance, terrible wallowy handling, and rusted before your very eyes. Total junk.
5. Rover 100 / Metro Mk3. No idea about the earlier ones but we had a couple of Metro / Rover 100 in the family for a while and they were shoddy unreliable and just not very good. I don't hate them though.

Yeah, my wife thinks that when we start a family the Celica has to be replaces with a PT Cruiser or something? One small child and suddenly you need a transit van? Don't bother. We looked at few things like that and quickly realised that on the secondhand market they're waaay overpriced. Buy some anonymous 5dr hatch, we got a low miles Carina E and it's great. I try not to do too much hating, and can't easily think of five, but one that depresses me is that VW Touran small MPV thing. Probably the dullest car currently on sale? And I struggle to see the point of the Golf Plus, so I'll add that to the list.

Had to hire a KIA Sedona a few years back, cos 7 of us wanted to go somewhere, and that was terrible. Yes it had 7 seats, but the luggage capacity was less than a Mk2 Escort. Take my advice, if you want to shift 7 people and their luggage across the country, take two Mk 2 Escorts. This thing was a Turbo-Diesel and it had diesel performance with petrol economy ( you'd be lucky to get 30mpg). Couple that with a gearbox that's bettered by most '50s BMC cars. Moving the stick forward gets you 1st, 3rd, 5th or reverse depending on what mood it's in!
God-awful excuse for a motor vehicle.
