Hi,
just tried a search but it said it has removed the words BMW and E34 from the search so that didn't leave me with much to see.
should be collecting a e34 tomorrow, so want to take it away from the retired old mans car look and more into a nice kinda retro 5 series.
nothing to bad not really a fan of smoked lights etc, but will be doing the clear indicators, will like to lower it and was thinking some kind of bbs wheels, maybe an exhaust from a 530 as it has 2 pipes instead of the 520's single exhaust.
and pics would eb great.

Which red one? The top one has staggered Style 5 BBS split rims, cant remember the name of the bottom one's wheels.
What colour is yours?
The backbox is the only difference on the 520 to the 525/535 from what I remember, so long as it's the M50 engine (91/92 on).
Whats the spec/ year etc? Leather?

The red saloon is sitting on BBS RS without center caps . . . good luck with hunting a set of those without having to give away one or two of your arms  . . . The backbox is the only difference on the 520 to the 525/535 from what I remember, so long as it's the M50 engine (91/92 on). erm! . . yes and no . . the 520i has a single pipe all the way from the middle . . 525 535 530 ect. have double pipes . . you would have to replace the whole rear part behind the cat, including the center silencer . . my 540i daily driver on throwing stars M5 wheels . . .  Right now, I do have 3 other E34's sitting around to be used as parts cars ;D . . . very good cars, but tend to have a bit of a rust issue . . especially the doors  . . . |

I'm going to colect it tomorrow but haven't seen the car in the flesh so it might be a dog, although the seller assures me its tidy.
its a 1996 520i se in oxford green with cloth interior.
I think the red touring has the wheels I want I think it looks perfect with the dish and its been lowered slightly.

then search for original BMW 18 Inch style 5's from a E38 or E39 (needs center rings) . . .

Oxfordgrün is a lovely colour. You'll want cream leather for most niceness possible! You'll have the M50B20TU motor, good and strong, on a timing chain so plenty reliable. just enough power and torque to be comfortable.
Forgot about the centre section of the exhaust as well as boogieman says. Still, as long as its cat-back you're ok. Very heavy exhaust though. Easily available non-rotten from breakers but worth upgrading to stainless, also releases the 6 pot burble.

ok thanks everyone.
i definatley want the wheel sfrom the red touring so ill keep checking ebay.
the exhaust, ill probably see a local company called torque flow who make stainless exhausts from scratch for you, not sure if i should get the manifolds changed too?
i am on the look out for a leather interior but will need door cards etc and it will need to be in really nice condition.
hopefully the car turns out a good one and ill get some pics up probably monday evening now.
