it depends on how moronic the other bidders are. nothing amazes more than an auction with a stack of bids on it from the start, surely it makes more sense with ebay to wait until the last minute/seconds to bang on a bid, thats the only way I ever get anything for a decet price on the bay or evil bidding from the off just gives other bidders the chance to think/research before they decide to counter bid This. If you see something you like, add it to your watch list, decide you maximum budget and wait until the end of the auction before showing your hand. Also, bid weird amounts. If you're prepared to pay £500 for something, it's worth bidding something like £507.23. Those odd pounds and pennies have won me many auctions in the past. As far as buying and selling, with the way that ebay keeps setting itself up more in favour of the dodgy buyer, I'm loath to sell anything there anymore. This is the way. When two people like you and I lock e-horns one of us looses out!

What ID is the spherical bearing mate? They may be useful to me for that alone.
I have a mate living in Taunton who could collect if they're what I need.

What terrible news! I did not know the lad personally, but have been following his cars/builds and I'm sure he was a lovely person.
My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Health And Safety ? You've obviously never heard of Harry Pringles then . . The good old indoors which is actually outdoors 'building'. TBF, it used to be a lot worse, but even now it is still your old skool 'pile em 4/5 high' and lean a ladder against the teetering pile affair. The young lad that works there is a bit of a knob mind. He's expensive too.

Just get a Cat 1 Panda. As said it will be fitted properly and reduce your insurance.
You can get Cliffords fitted for somethign like £160 now. It's not worth bothering with half of these Chinese remote start things on the bay.

I am glad someone else shares my love for these things!
It's a shame they're as good as forgotten, especially as you say they were the first true hybrid.
I'd have one I reckon. It would have to be in the bright green they did though.

I'd kill for a mk1 Capri. Shame he has converted the lights to mk2.
RS ducktail and luvre FTW. The 3.0 is essential. Someone is gonna get a bargain I reckon!
