as far as pics allow.the battery tray seems solid.not really bothered as i've done my fair share of battery trays.ha ha ha was more off a mk 3 man myself.. but did have a mk 4 1.4 lowered 60mm (with coil lopped out) and some 3 door cossy rims on it and smoked about in it till next mot time... glove box lid broke so cos the battery try was so rotten!! took battery out complete with what was left off the tray, inner wing, bulk head and A pillar!!!!1 and got what I wanted out the glove boxs!! 2 days off welding and moted it!! glade them days are gone!! yours looks tidy mind.... nice find

well, think i answered my own question today..took one off to clean it up ready for a tidy up.. and this is what i found.. so I'm thinking they are rs wantanabe rims.. Defoe 3peace rims.. with loads off offset.. just the wrong way.. but its also got wheel spacers on it to compensate for this.. so the more i look at the van, that was free!! is turning out to be a right bargain ;D

those rims are oldschool as! They look like genuine RS-Watanabe 3pc rims! They suit an 80s J car well well look at these... are thay?? time to get some work done on this thing!! after getting it home over xmas.. the weather has been so**** and cold that not really been able to get out and do anything to it did fit a better secound hand dizzy to it. and now it start and run alot better.. as soon as the evenings start pulling out. can start on the welding.!!and there is a bit off it to do :-/but when you spoend all day welding up old landrovers.. anything is possable!!! could do with a good secound hand rear door.. but might just put a new bottom in it?? the piller damage that was done when it was broken in to.. and then a new arch/sill to make up.. and the odd little bits here and there to do.. ;D but would really like to save this one,as after getting it and looking about.. you don't see many,if any on the road!!!!!!!!!
