Hi just wondering if anyone has had reason to use small claims court for work carried out, or in my case not carried out, for a bodyshop? My car has been with a bodyshop for 2 years(!) after numerous failed promises of completion spanning literally 1.5 years I went to see the car, it was in bits, sat outside open to the elements, with no glass in! Interior is shot, floorpans are rusted out, god knows the mechanical damage.
I’m having a report carried out today by a classic specialist to assess damage, I have paid a small deposit, plus recovery costs both ways, and now the extra money involved in bringing the car back to how it was. Any advise appreciated.

Hi guys any recommendations for engine rebuilds, have a Jensen and a couple of classic mercs that need doing. Been a while since I’ve had anything rebuilt what kind of price parts and labour should I be expecting for a full rebuild...

Thanks guys yes it’s almost exactly like that grumpynortherner and spreading around most of the car now, think it has been resprayed at some point but shines up real nice and no rust. Shame I’ll have to re-spray :/

Hi guys I have a 60's buick spent most of its life in the sun or indoors, only been out here and there in the wet and very tiny bubbles have appeared under the paint, have to look really close to see, can feel them when you run your hand over.
Would there be any way of getting rid of these without respraying whole car? ie light rub down and re-lacquer or something... any help appreciated

Hi guys have a 1990 ford escort 1.3 and all of a sudden stopped running, engine turns but doesn’t start, stupid question but I assume the small red square at the top is an immobiliser? This red key doesn’t work, my usual black one seems to be missing this ‘immobiliser’ if this is the cause of the issue how/ where would I go about getting one?!
