As the title 15" Space Saver is in Malvern and the guy is very easy about collection times. Then moved ideally to Oxford but anywhere closer helps rather than a 3hr+ round trip. Heathrow / Windsor / Farnham direction also would work.

@ Melle Thanks us Saab owners need to stick together ! Saab at Brooklands NMP by creativeq, on Flickr Also if any one wants the .xls file it is for DCNF's as mentioned but you could use it for other weber set ups you would just need to change a few calculations.

As mentioned you need the graphs from the books. Once you have these you can work out the relationships and drop this info into a spreadsheet as the picture below. i did this for DCNF carbs luckily they are mostly linear. You will also need the descriptions for what each change does. Weber suggestions by creativeq, on Flickr The final part is all the sizes are for old school 100% fuel not the current stuff so for all calculations its worth upping the petrol side by 10% and go from there.

20190401_183500 by creativeq, on Flickr To the left is my Gran and to the right is my mum. The car i think is a monaco The car isn't important location is key. This is just off the roundabout at Seaburn (Sunderland) by the park or further up the prom. My Grandfather owned a car garage just behind Roker Park in the 20's -30's and was basically as shady as they come and gambled away every single penny then disappeared. He used to like to pose and as shown in the photo they would take cars up to the sea front early in the day and then stay there all day playing records as he had a portable gramophone so every one passing could see and hear. The only issue was they could only leave at the very end of the day as often they couldn't afford the petrol so ended up pushing the cars home , they also only had one record. As a side he did socialise with Reg Vardy and my mum used to know the Vardy's many years ago.

Little bit of an obscure thread (but hopefully the good will on here will help ). Driving to work this morning on the A34 south bound and there is a Black Hardtop on the side of the road , presumably some one was transporting a car and this has come of. I couldn't recognise it beyond having a square rear window that wasn't to inset and it looked in good nick 60's - 70's example to my eye.
Please do a Shaw Taylor on the forums and if any one says they have mysteriously misplaced their hard top PM me for a more exact location. I realise opportunist hard top thieves are few and far between but I still don't want to give a fuller location on the open forum.

Bit late to party but when I did my apprenticeship many moons ago. Once you had the basic cube which had to pass both size and surface finish. The next step was about loading and unloading a 3 jaw and 4 jaw and then how and why you centralise work and clamping work off centre. But saying that I can appreciate the time saved clamping it in a split tube.

Sorry Duncan I missed this, I didn't bother smoothing them off but you can use a flap wheel on a Dremel. Just be careful to not get them too hot. I used a very good pair of side cutters that took the leg of virtually at the surface.
It is amazing how much plastic you need to fix once you get the hang of it. I think I am on about my third bag of staples.

20190204_091248 by creativeq, on Flickr The quattro is on long term hold, it place being filled by a Murena which now runs and an old Thames Wooden Put Put boat which runs when it feels like it. The picture above gives some reference from when the bumper was less intact.

Sorry I missed this i bought the following of eBay a couple of weeks ago to sort out my split bumper. It is incredibly easy and intuitive to use and easier than a hot air welder. Bottom line if you want to borrow either I can drop them of or you can collect depending on how comfortable you feel based on the current situation. Does any one have a link for a quality coloured loom (fabric with sticky backing) tape or black with a tracer colour in it ?
I use Tesa tape as it works but can't seem to find any coloured versions and the versions on line look a bit mmmmm.
Its to highlight the loom of an Lpg install.

Thanks for the opinions, I have spoke to a couple of testers and they say much the same although they also mentioned the fact the criteria change but the testing method and words haven't.
Bottom line, you must be able to see the road with out anything significantly affecting your view of the entire road.
so cracks appear to be Ok.
the only caveat is if its dangerous or not fit for purpose. Then its a general fail

I am going around in circles and need help from a tester if possible. As shown below in red, I have a golf ball sized bit of damage to the edge of the screen outside of the swept area. A single crack emanates from this into the swept area, but not into the zone A. My interpretation is : The "golfball sized " damage is ignored as it is not in any zone that affects the drivers view. The crack / damage extends over a 40mm diameter so it must be considered. To my mind as its just a crack I can't see how it significantly affects the drivers view so it should pass. But part of me says its a crack over the diameter so its a fail ? Windscreen

Ok so I understand that Merc may have set out their stall like that (possibly BMW for the Z1 also?).
But you mentioned the ruling for V5 pre / post 2000 where is that info from ?
