Hi there,
Great looking car. Had mine for a couple of years now and love it to bits. Mine behaves a little "stangely" when cold, but once warmed up in fine. Have changed the Air Flow Meter, and made things a little better but still tries to cut out.
Really like the fix for the C pillar as mine sounds exactly like yours.
Would you be interested in flogging us about 3 meters of what you have left. (possibly Adam might also be interested) At least that way you'd get back some of the cost back for the 10m's you purchased.
Cheers
Dave

I must have a massive touring tank in my E38. I'd be happy as a pig in £$%^ if it took £60 to fill mine. I was on fumes the once but hit the £99 limit at the petrol station before the pump clicked off.
Was proud and scared at the same time.
Mines only a 2.8, but happily does 35+ on a run. The 750 might be even better as its just a tickover.
Good Luck with the sale.

Somewhere in the shed I have a Morgan Hill Boost Pin that I bought from someone off the Land Rover Forum. Never got to fit it, but by all accounts makes quite a difference.
Its also meant to be very easy to fit.
Get back to me if its any use and I'll try and dig it out/locate it.
Cheers

As for karl at noob tune.... Where is he based? I wouldnt mind having it remapped/looked at to be honest. Website and contact details as below www.noobtune.co.uk/I think he's based Northampton way, but drop him an e-mail. He's highly regarded on UKSaabs Cheers Dave

My old 900 V6 Convertible (auto) used to average 18 mpg round town but over 35 on a run.
Have you done a tank to tank calculation. Could be that you are getting a higher figure and the SID display is wrong. Talking of the SID display are the pixels all there. Just wondered if you might be reading 15mph as average speed instead of 15 mpg??
A slightly devious option may be to get the Car remapped via Karl at Noob tune. You;d end up with a faster car, and hopefully he would sort out the fuelling issue for you at the same time.
Have a concern re the wobble, as these are prone to the bulk head cracking, don't know if it matches your symptoms, but its something you might need to investigate.
If you are not already a member of UK Saabs, it might be an idea to join as there is a lot of knowledge on there regarding Saabs.
Hope you get it sorted,
Cheers
Dave

Does look good. Also only did 19 miles in 2013/2014, it was 9 miles each way to the MOT station.

How bad is the clutch slip?
Cant get the car moving, or just when you boot it in 2nd?? Number of keys? Remote locking? Air con? Heated Front Window?
Aware this is only a £150 Puma, but just trying to do the man maths in my head.

Cant believe I've only just seen this thread. As a fellow E38 owner in the West Midlands could have sorted you out with a few bits and bobs re the Sat Nav. Got an issue with the whole system in mine, so bought a complete set from a breaker. I've only got a lowly 728i, as could not afford the petrol for a 750. To be honest I had a 735i previously and could not afford the petrol on that either hence the 728. Had it for a couple of years and looked for one with all the toys, Sat Nav, Moon Roof, Dipping mirror etc etc. However it was the lights under each of the door handles that sold the car though Still got to try and sort the cabling out on mine as the stereo will go through phases of no volume at all. Everything works, you just cant hear anything. However it does have a freeview install, so can watch "Dave" with the subtitles on when waiting. Must be something in the water in this neck of the woods as also own a Saab 9-5 Aero, so we seem to have the same taste in cars. Lovely looking car by the way. Cheers

I don't think you can just change the batteries on these. If its the same key as my E38 (which I think it is), the car charges the battery for you The key is a sealed unit and requires a bit of work with a Stanley knife and a soldering iron.

Is it a 110 or 90bhp? Big Intercooler Pipe to the left of the air filter gives it away. Cheers Dave

Love a nice E38. Mine's off the road at the moment as it broke a spring the weekend. Which then went through the tyre. Yours is a great colour, and from the corner of the pictures it also appears to have the luxury seats.(the back of the seat bends,so you can position it to contour your back. Current 728i doesn't have this, but my previous 735i did,and they were the nicest seats I have ever sat in. I think they all do that with the ashtray as well.
Good luck with the sale
Cheers

As Saab seats probably not worth a lot, but I believe they fit directly into VW camper vans (if they have the backrest release on the side of the seat - Not at the bottom) I think I sold a pair for £30 a few years ago.

Basically our old Polo has a slow puncture. Took it to the tyre place for a pucnture repair and I think the rim has oxodised, so the tyre is not sealing at multiple areas round the tyre. So after a single 13" steel wheel and tyre or a complete set. Cheap and Cheerful as you can Thanks Dave

Cheers for that, but going to pass. Electric Windows was the main reason. The passenger mechanism has jammed on mine, so its just propped up/jammed at the moment. It looks easier to change the whole door than mess around with those cables etc.
Thanks again

Does this have Electric Windows and Central Locking. No. of keys?
Basically have exactly the same colour Polo, so might be interested in this as a Parts car.
Got any pics of the Interior as well.
Get back to me.
Thanks
