Does the loft have and ventilation, if not it might be an idea to split the track in a couple of places when it is not being used. Had mine up the loft and in the summer it would get hot enough to warp the track (old classic track) and expand it to break off the fixing lugs underneath.

It is indeed from SRC. Be quick if you want one a limited run of just 300. Most of the SRC Capri's are going for strong money now wish I had bought a few more when they were first released.
Goes really well with the magnet taken out.

That place really is a lot smaller than I imagined it would be. Wasn't his truck done in secret by the Overhaulin' crew.

Spotted this a couple of years ago in a small Cornish fishing village. Looked like it was being used as daily driver, seagull mess on it and general road grime a few scratches here and there. Nice to see one in use and not tucked away never to see the light of day.

Give the track a wipe over with WD40 Spray it onto an old duster wipe over the track,it works wonders. Wipe it over the tyres. Cleans the track and adds grip also. Had a play with this to bring it closer to ground level.

Sorry misread the question, off cuts and odds and ends of wood kicking around the garage for the raised up section. For the sides and the curved wall around the track it's that slotted flexible 6mm MDF painted grey.

I used the chipboard flooring boards that can be used for flooring out a loft space. They came tongue and grooved so fitted together nice and tight and are nice and sturdy, the support frame is just inch square wood.

Learnt to drive in a poverty spec AX. Had a squeaky clutch pedal and every lesson my instructor would comment on how it needed a deb of oil, never got it done though.

Have you scratch built that or is it based on a kit. Impressive either way. Would be nice to have the BTCC estate from a few years back.
Looks like the wheels from Lightin' Mcqueen.

Cheers Mikey. Has mine up in the loft when we first bought the house. Suffered a few issues with that to cold in the winter to hot in the summer loft got so hot the track would warp. So took over the spare room one when the wife was out. Only downside of it being in the spare room is I now spend to much money buying to many cars now they can be displayed and used more easily.
Will have to get a few up to date photos now the shelving has improved.
