I've got a slightly later Perodua Kenari that I'm running as a daily. It has a custom Cobra stainless backbox that was fitted less than a year ago by the previous owner, cost £110. Gives the 3 cylinder engine a fruity tone. Don't know if it's up your street but I'm looking to put it back to standard. Can send some more pics or a video if it's something you might fancy. Tow bar also available. I'm not breaking it, just prefer standard runarounds.

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. The details I have only tell half the story, if you're interested, you'll need to speak with Rob as he knows this car inside out and has spent the last 9 years making it what it is. PM me on here for his contact details. Couple of pics to pique your interest The base is a 1972 Opel Manta A with manual conversion using (I think) Sierra gearbox & diff. This is built as a track ready road car with certified safety devices cage, Recaros, 4-point quick release harnesses and remote brake bias adjustment running on Toyo T1-Rs. It's entirely stripped of any unnecessary weight with a ally race fuel tank and relocated battery in the boot. Sunroof has been welded up and the dash is minimal, basic door cards etc. Engine: 2.0l Red Top with ITBs and custom equal primary/secondary exhuast (will remember the builder at some point), electronic ignition management unit, lots of revs, lots of induction noise, lots of speed. There's loads more that can be said about this car but it's best coming from the man himself, It really is a lovely motor, get in touch if you're serious about finding out more, Cheers, Sam

Back face is flat so can easily be redrilled. I think this is quite common for them.

Forgot to say, including centre caps. I'm prepared to clean them up, just going to run a dremel round and see how one comes up to start with.

Not many of these about so wondering what they're worth and also what my best marketplace is to move them on. They're 4 off, all straight although have some corrosion to the lips where knock on weights were fitted! I've seen some sets listed in the past at £400 but I'm really open to suggestions. Don't want to be a dreamer but also don't want to give them away. I also wonder where my best market is, I guess from the size and fitment, they would go well on something like a Civic or older J stuff. Not much in the way of 5-stud cars that want 16"s though these days. And one of them looking as they can (not mine). Sam

As I may be in a similar position with my motor, has anyone been down the route of finding a similar type of strut available in the right length and modifying it. Top mounts are quite transferable with the right bush and the hub mounts can be welded on I presume.
Start with some cheap micra or corsa coilovers and go from there?
Or are there too many variables for that route?

I'm selling these as they're just not quite the fitment I was going for on my Supra. Bought them as a set with tyres but they were nearly gone so not worth keeping. The 9Js are in bright orange and the 9.5Js are in satin black, all wheels have minor curb chips but are true and clean up well. I would consider splitting into pairs if there is interest in them separately. Details: Rota Grid 17" x 9J ET25 - Orange Rota Grid 17" x 9.5J ET12 - Satin Black Photos: Location: Sheffield, S10 Courier: £30 through paisley freight Price: £375 or £195 per pair ONO Thanks for looking, pm on here or text on 07930508379 during the day, can talk in the evenings. I don't know how many people might look here but I wondered if anyone had some more up to date advice about where to sell in particular. There are a couple more options now than eBay for selling cars, with Gumtree and Facebook being the obvious ones. Autotrader has also upped it's game in recent years so may be worth considering again, I think they now charge less for cars selling under a grand which makes it more suitable. Question: I'm selling a couple of 10 year old (2004) cars in order to return to something retro, I typically sell on here but have used Gumtree for other cars with mixed success. Where would you recommend selling two honest medium mielage motors?
Cheers,
Sam

Having a good scrub
I'm always looking for ways to clean up bits and bobs and this looks quite effective. What is it, is it easy, cheap? What do I need? Cheers, Sam

This is so far up my street it might as well be on my drive. I've been mildly obsessed with the F1 Espace for a few years and always toyed with idea of modifying one but never had the gumption to actually do it. That is quite an ambitious build too, be interesting to see mro detail about the central seating position...

Hey pavel. Just been speaking to Adrian Flux and they quoted me over £4k to insure it. Assuming you've not been paying that, can you recommend anyone or anything to get around that price?

Try and get a link to your photobucket album up on the listing, cars don't tend to do well without detailed photos. This one could be an exception though. I'd previously tried getting a quote but I'll have another shot at it seeing as I'm top bidder.

Where is the car, I'm in Sheffield so Leeds and Derby are good but Devon is not.
I won't stretch to £1250 but I've toyed with the idea of these before, will make an offer if it's nearby.
