As far as I could tell, the boltholes were drilled right in relation to the centerhole, but not centered right to the middle of the rim. So when mounted on the car, it acted like a out of round wheel. Glad yours checked out fine. Mine must have been a bad batch... Ah, now I see what you mean! These have been used before so I hope they are OK... I will spin them when mounted on the car to see that they sit in the middle.
The rims have no markings whatsoever so maybe the were cast by some drunk amateur somewhere?
Cheers

Awesome build... I really like it. Before you cut your fenders to fit the wheels, check if the boltpattern is centered correctly. I had a set exactly like those, and they were not. ( found that out after I had them painted, and the outside edge polished of course...) Couldn't use them because of that. That was a big disappointment, because I thought they were drop dead gorgeous... Thanks a lot!
I double checked the rims today using a lot of light and my glasses As far as I can tell the bolt holes line up and the center hole of the rims fit the hubs. The offset is different though... the inner lip of the rim sits 1" further out than the original and since the baby-miura ones are 1.5" wider, the outer lip sits a full 2.5" further out than original. I could of course checked this with the seller before I bought them, but I really wanted the rims and a part of me was worried the answer should be something like this... Now I have the rims and I have bought the car so I have to make them fit Originally I had no intension of fitting wheelarch extensions since I quite like the narrow look but maybe I'll have to consider that now... Or converting to double wishbone suspension....

Thanks! There is a very long term plan/dream to install an Italian engine with two cylinders and a 90 degree angle... Yes - a bit of Ducati Desmo action would be great fun! I always thought a Guzzi would be the way to go. Ducati or Guzzi - that's the question... I would like to keep the gearbox of the bike thereby getting a sequential gearbox and maybe use one of those diffs with reverse used by some bike engine 7-builders. The Guzzi-unit will create a 850 "twinair" since it's only available as air cooled. It will also sit further back. I'm a bit doubtful if air cooling is sufficient in the back of a car.

An 850 question I could probably answer but there are just some things us foreigners don’t understand. This must be something like the British number plates, I just don’t get their personalized plates or the ridiculous prices they seem to command. Looking forward to learning something new though. In Sweden the plate belongs to the car and all plates have three letters and three digits. You can pay £500 to have a 7 position personal plate for 10 years. It's not very popular.

Thanks for your support!
I've never heard of the "Diderot Effect" before but now I have a name for what I'm suffering from...
I have also ordered a can of "Duraglit". At least it looks cool :-)
