Had the same happen on my TR7 the spring inside the master had broken and jammed the piston, as others have said slaken the pipe union at the master cylinder with a rag under it, the you should then have drive if so fit a new master cyl.
At least you have the car at home I had to do this in the middle of a busy junction then start it in gear and drive with no clutch.

A pain, I've thought my 40 year old Clarke has died a few times but it's just been loose wires, might be something similar.
Always anoying when you have spend the time you should be getting on with the job fixing the tools though.

I seem to remember you can invert the cw & pinion on a 2CV gearbox to put the engine behind it, not a great powerhouse but there are a few proven bike conversions for it.

I remember watching a crew change a similar one on a mk2 escort in a late 80's RAC somewhere near Swanasea, took them about 10 minutes!

The castelated joints are for corrosion protection, the idea being e-coat can penetrate the seam.

you might even want the lower grip of crossplies, it's generally better to understeer rather than grip enough to tip over.
For the cable as above get the old one off and you should be able to get a new one made with the old fittings.
For the wiper a man of you skills should be able to make something of a truck or boat (or even a locomotive) work.

If it seems to not be switching to AC I'd start by checking the switch and it's wiring.

It's basicaly the stuff they stick windscreens in with so it's pretty tough, best to prime both surfaces with some epoxy first though, Only issue I have had with it is the paint can crack over it, Also I'm not sure it would take the load of a roof rack.

If you do end up going the diesel route, that’s something I do know a bit about. I’m not a million miles away from you if you want to come over and have a look around my Land-Rover. I think Andy moved to wales......

Depending on what pressure cap you are using boiling point will be between 110 and 120 C so you're not in any danger.
They do fluctuate a bit with the thermostat, having your heater return/bypass in the top hose might not help either.

I think it makes a lot more sense in a rural enviroment where you don't have gas, have room for larger solar arrays and space to build a plant room if need be.
Personally I think we should be focusing on insulation, that will dramatically cut consumption of whatever fuel is used, often at a much lower cost.

It could be the one of the windows in the side of a visa van, not many around now though, perhaps it's worth making a paper template you can carry around and use if you see any possable candidate.
They seem easily available in the Netherlands but at a 125 euro plus getting there perspex may the easy option.

I've been using onshape too and found it great, my son does cad for work so I have a coach too, he also has a cheap 3d printer which works OK but I'm contemplating splashing out a bambu 3d printer as a retirement present to myself, It'll never pay go it's self but what hobbies do.

I find touching in any small bits with a fine brush and the original paint works well, leave it a day or so and flat it back wet like the rest.

My elan has yokohamas on it that must be 10 years old but look perfect and still have great wet and dry grip, It is of course very light, has 75 profile tyres and is kept in a garage out of sunlight, I do wonder if low profiles and heavier cars are part of the issue.
On the moderns with 40 profile tyres the potholes seem to do for them before they wear or crack now.
