lovely! so nice to see one not abused and nearly original! GLWTS Thank you. That was one of the main selling points for myself. I do have the original Gold Speedline Prodrive alloys, they need a refurb though. Previous owner went to an aftermarket exhaust after the original final rusted away

This Subaru is a one previous owner car. The previous owner was Alan Barnard, the chairman of the West Essex car club who bought it new and had it for 17 years before due to lack of use I acquired it. I've done quite a bit to it in the short time I've owned her. I bought her to tick off a Subaru from my bucket list. I'm a Paramedic but in my spare time cars are my passion and escape. Onto the car: Full service history, regular oil changes and belts as the schedule stated. 160000 miles, mostly motorway and has been kept absolutely standard and run beautifully. Full leather interior which is spotless. Original floor mats and boot protector. Fresh MOT as of 2nd October Recent work carried out: Oil change/filter New Brembo discs and Brembo pads all around. Two new front calipers. New handbrake shoes. Two new front inner track rod ends. Two new CV boots. Stainless steel braided hoses all around. Set of newage Subaru WRX alloys put on. Brand new battery. I took the Subaru for an MOT and she failed on a small section of the brake pipes being corroded and had no advisories. I then had the brake lines replaced, a new alternator fitted as noticed the original one was getting tired and also as the rear jacking points were getting a little crusty, had the whole rear of the sills cut out and replaced with metal obviously, mainly because the rest of sills are spot on and didn’t want it to get worse. No expense spared on the car, the welding was just over £500 and it wasn’t even worthy of mention on the failed MOT. Just like my cars looked after. My next jobs would be to address the cosmetic side of things, there is some lacquer peel on lower of drivers door/roof spoiler and bonnet scoop. Two small scabs on the rear arch along with the usual little car park marks here and there. These will be getting done over the winter. My focus as always is making a car mechanically and structurally perfect become moving onto cosmetics. The exhaust tip could do with a good polish too. Only modification is an aftermarket exhaust, which has a nice Subaru burble, it’s almost silent when cruising. I’m only selling because now I have had the pleasure of owning and driving this beauty, I’m looking to own either a Corrado VR6 or MR2 MK1, carrying on with the bucket list. This is priced to sell, try not to compare this to other lesser cars, that have been used to Tow, have copious amounts of owners who have all driven the car hard and modified. This is an excellent version of the legendary Impreza. A one previous owner(A car club chairman, middle aged gentleman) well looked after Subaru. I have some other parts available that I will list separately but a deal could be had if the buyer wishes. Price is £1800 Please note, the exhaust in the picture isn’t the exhaust mentioned in the advert, the aforementioned exhaust will be going back on the car tomorrow (09/10/17). Cash on collection or Bank transfer. Thanks for reading.

Glad you got this, knowing you this is going to end up a cracker! I was tempted by this but have just bought another Corrado VR6 to do up. Book marked and look forward to the progress.
Don't forget some videos capturing the lovely noise! Never get old hearing them!

Something strangely alluring about this!
Also nice to see an advert with halfway decent pictures.

Stumbled across the Norfolk Fives meet this morning, some nice 5's. One being my old 5(Pog). Miss that car, it was/is mint! Another being Chris's Pitcrew. Love the gearstick!!

Collected Bol from Cleverley's. What a massive difference with the HSD's, JR ARB's and Racing Beat droplinks. The brakes also feel sharper now with the 1.8 upgrade and braided hoses. That was a fun drive home Updated spec: -15" OEM BBS > Uniroyal Rainsport3 195/50/15 -ARC Chamber > K&N filter panel. -RSR 4-1 manifold > Silenced decat > Racing Beat cat back exhaust. -Smoked sidelights. -TDR radiator cover. -IL Motorsport oil cap. -OEM front lip. -Sun visor delete. -Gear lever extender > JASS upper shift boot > Voodoo gear nob > Cobalt quickshift. -IL motorsport Lower front subframe brace. -OEM rear lip spoiler. -MK2 hood frame > Vinyl hood, glass rear heated window. -HSD's. -Jackson racing ARB's. -Racing Beat adjustable drop links. -1.8 Brake upgrade > Goodridge Braided hoses > Groved disks. Things bought and awaiting fitment. -Cobalt lower rear brace. -Mishimoto 3 row radiator. -XTD lightened flywheel.

Dropped Bol off today to get all the suspension set up completed and have a look over the 1.8 brake upgrade. Can't wait to get him back to see/feel the difference! Met Lawrence today to collect my new rad, nice guy and his Turbo 5 sounds like quite the motor! Also saw this lovely car today, one of my fave's.

Nice - some similar mods to mine, yours is better condition and you've done more. Just started the process of doing the 1.8 brake upgrade. Thanks, it polishes up really well for a 25 year old car! I'm doing the 1.8 upgrade this week too, dependent upon doing a final check over all the parts as I've had them in storage for a few months.

**So I'm starting a new thread for Bol, mainly because I tidied my Photobucket and as such broke all my photo links! This way it'll tidy it all up and have pictures from the get go.** A few recent additions, Track dog racing radiator cover and IL Motorsport oil cap. Back to amber side repeaters. Sun visor delete. Voodoo gear nob. A little round up of the current spec: 15" OEM BBS > Uniroyal Rainsport3(next week) ARC Chamber > K&N filter panel. RSR 4-1 manifold > Silenced decat > Racing Beat cat back exhaust. Smoked sidelights. TDR radiator cover. IL Motorsport oil cap. OEM front lip. Sun visor delete. Gear lever extender > JASS upper shift boot > Voodoo gear nob. IL motorsport Lower front subframe brace. OEM rear lip spoiler. MK2 hood frame > Vinyl hood, glass rear heated window. Cobalt quickshift. Sunstrip. Things to go on next week -HSD's. -Jackson racing ARB's. -Racing Beat adjustable drop links. -Cobalt lower rear brace. -1.8 Brake upgrade. -195/50/15 Rainsport3's Things bought and awaiting fitment. -Mishimoto 3 row radiator. -XTD lightened flywheel. Plans? Well in the short term, after getting next weeks jobs completed I'll look to fit the Rad and flywheel(plus new clutch as most likely the original still-even though still working fine, would be silly not too at the same time). Also try locate an oil leak, think it's from the cam cover gasket, annoying really as that was done when last serviced. Then I'll take stock, I want to tidy the engine bay really. I'm going to remove the AC and charcoal canister. Move the wash bottle for one of G19's black powder coated ones. Get a black powder coated expansion tank too(maybe G19 or Davefab?). I would love a 323 cover and I'll wait until I find one of those instead of crinkle blacking my cam cover. I was going to do the throttle body and AFM too but until I decide on sticking stock NA or ITB I'll hold off spending the dosh. I like the IL coolant reroute but heard mixed reviews over the need to do these, will do some track days eventually. I do like that the rad hose is removed from going over the ARC chamber with the IL reroute so it'd have cosmetic as well as possible functional benefits? Some other random pics Quick pic from today, sun strip added, centre caps added and a polish.

I like the gold alloys its currently wearing but then I'm a.sucker for the Minilite style I really like them too, if they turn out to be Mg I'll keep them for when i head to the track eventually. If I love the Stefan's then I'll let the Wats go. I've always loved Compomotive ML's but the one's I really like would require arch work which i really want to avoid really.

So I figure I'll just run through the current spec of how Bol sits currently. Bol's had various looks and JDM goodies come and go, from VX220 seats, a RS Aizawa cat back, low pro's to Mazdaspeed rear spoiler. As he stands at the mo his spec is: Watanabe F8FS, possibly magnesium wheels. Need to weigh one to confirm. ARC Chamber > K&N filter panel. RSR 4-1 manifold > Silenced decat > Racing Beat cat back exhaust. Smoked sidelights. OEM front lip. Gear lever extender > JASS upper shift boot. IL motorsport Lower front subframe brace. OEM rear lip spoiler. MK2 hood frame. Soon to be added are some HSD coilovers and Stefan cup alloys and a 1.8 brake upgrade
