I had it for about 7 or 8 years, spent thousands on it over that time. I have an E39 M5 now which I bought after I sold the Sport. I can never shift the urge for something older and interesting though :-)

Should be around the 190-200 mark. They make 210 new and it ran well when I had it. It's about equal to an E36 M3 if it's driven right and you use the torque. I'm working away at the moment so I can't tell you the exact date of the magazine, I have a copy at home and I gave a copy to the lad that bought it but he's obviously kept it. Did you get it locally? It's a long way from me with you! I drove it up from west sussex.

Ok, here's some more info on it. E34 M30 lump and gearbox, I fitted a new sachs clutch and a lightened E28 solid flywheel. Z3 quickshift, propshaft was professionally shorted/adapted by Recoprop. E28 M535 rad, citroen AX electric fan with E30 M3 fanswitch. BBR Chip. Custom made engine mounts. Modified frontpipe down onto genuine E30 M3 exhaust with Scorpion backbox. H&R 60-40 shocks and springs, that's a Spax strutbrace with an H&R sticker. EBC discs and pads all round (it had anyway) Braided hoses all round. Every bush and ball joint was replaced the year I sold it. That's M3 leather, not original Sport, it looks much better. I think that's about it!

I just registered to say that this is my old car, I did the conversion and all the other mods. It was completely standard when I bought it. It's good to see it again, exactly the same as how I sold it. It used to be quite well known on the E30zone. Total BMW mag did an article on this car when I had it, a few years ago now, around 2006-7 I think. Anyway, GLWTS.
