Its being slammed! just looking at wheel size options, the photoshop pic are clearly not 14 inch? No I increased those to resemble 17-18" original. 14" slotmags might be an option or even lotus elite/eclat solid style, getting harder to find but when they do appear they are cheap as chips. I think you wanted to go banded steelies though?

You guys, really too kind as always. Just a sneaky preview of the shot for RetroCars magazine, haven't got a clue when the feature comes out but thought I'd drop a teaser...

Had an up and down couple of weeks with a few electrical issues but I believe they are now solved. Turns out I bought a duff alternator off the crapBay and was trying to fault find an issue that never really was. My local garage said that they would do a bench test on the faulty unit, while I was there one of the guys said that it looked incredibly similar to an early Ford alternator (seeing as they are Ford specialist) he promptly went off and brought back a crusty old lump they had lying around. The bench test was negative on my faulty unit so I asked if I could use the Ford unit as a test. Got back home bolted it on and pow! Everything started to light up, getting a good 13.8v while driving so seems my charging problems are now history. On a detailing note just finished my doorcards ready for RRG, looks a touch classier now, I'm loving the faux wood effect and soft canvas combo, have a look, see what you think.

Hehe, on the left I had the two lowriders from ultimatestance next to me, they are cool but I'm sure they were a little miffed, they didn't talk to me once, the cheek of it! On the right a badass subaru (very nice couple, chatted away all day with them) the guy must have ploughed 60-70k in his car, widebody kit, carbon panels all over the place, titanium bolts, silicone hoses, this car had the works. They showed as much interest in the elite as they did their own car and that gained my respect instantly, a true car guy. Great show, definitely go back next year, so many different cars there, something for everyone. Best thing on the day? The panther held up to the 190 mile round trip, every micro system working perfectly and all dials correct and that just topped the day off for me, can't wait for the next show.

Some high dollar bits and bobs going on right there! Great list, almost every nock and cranny of this car has had attention to improve it. Well done, they ain't easy to work on and you've worked incredibly hard to achieve a great looking motor.

Interesting read, how are you going to clean the tanks out, that outlet looks totally hard blocked, time for new tanks maybe?

I got a round of applause yesterday evening. Just as I drove around the main green in town a few teenagers (playing on the green) run over to get a closer look, as I did the drive by they started clapping, how bloody cool was that, almost brought a tear to ones eye! Anyway just to repport I've completed the front air bag installation and after initial testing the handling is greatly improved, firmer but still comfortable and gives me much more confidence while driving. As soon as funds are available I'll be converting the rear to bags. All the best Charlie ;-)
