Yes odo broken tho' speedo works (indeed everything bar the odo works, and as with all 124s it wears the miles with ease - no real wear / tear, edge of the driver's seat all good, nice tight drive - even the seat belt butlers still buttle! Also a third the price of equivalent cars, so while it won't be for everyone I don't see it hanging around long - I've priced it so someone can buy it happy they're getting a bargain, and I hope fairly so
Cheers
Matt

I can't remember ever seeing one like that before, is it stock bodywork? Almost looks like common minitruck mods from the factory if it is. I think it's stock bar paint (they're all white!) and the rear tool locker - the main thing is condition - it's never been apart, you can literally see every spot weld as if it had been made yesterday Massive folder to read yet - I hope it may contain a clue as to how and why, etc. Meanwhile enjoying like a pig in poo - 200 miles today and every one a grin Cheers Matt

Drives like a dream! Headed up to that there London today - sweet 1500 4 pot motor, 5-speed column change, not at all bangy or crashy, lovely in all aspects; has the feel of an Egyptian minibus in terms of doing 3.5 million miles without breaking sweat and as good as anything I've ever driven for thumbs up & waves. How to be let out at a junction, reinvented! Now I need to work out what to do with it! Hot tub, hmmm...? Cheers Matt

Lovely truck! Rubbing compound then a good coat or two of decent wax does the trick perfectly - just renew once a year or so - much better than clearcoat imho Cheers Matt

Great looking car and project!!! This to me is one of the few remaining positive corners of the world wide cobwebs and while time prevents me posting as much as I used to (that will I hope change shortly) it is exactly this sort of project I love reading about so please do share progress as much as you feel able to - oh and I'd echo Chris re the 1000 to 1 ratio! Cheers Matt

Just waiting for the weather to pass. That big line is matching towards us right now (for scale, from end to end is about 2000 miles), and represents electrical storm activity. It's really windy and it's threatening to rain right now. (For reference I'm on the western side of the bay across from the lone orange dot at the bottom). Phil Edit: Now we're on tornado watch. Gotta love unstable weather. Be safe dear boy
